#Bluemoonmass

Alright, so I am going to tell you something that will blow your mind… well I think both parts of this are pretty cool… so listen up! Every 2-3 years we are lucky enough to see an extra full moon! It’s something to do with 12 full moons a month, solar calendars, lunar years, Metonic cycles and stuff like that. Follow the links at the end of this post if you interested!

AND to make this EVEN better, two brilliant minds Daniel Graham (@Cpt.Grimmy) and Elad Kirshenbaum (@onekcollection) have come up with a casual bike ride once a month for the full moon! Now this blue moon is even more special because it is rarer, kind of like Bigfoot, but way cooler ;) The next blue moon we’ll see will be in 2015 so if you are a great believer in the Mayan’s legacy I suggest you get hold of a bike and don’t miss this great event :)

 Where to meet?

At 21:00 on the night of the 31st August under the Green Point Circle, Cape Town.

The Route

At 21:15 everyone leaves the circle through Granger Bay Boulevard, turn left into Beach Road and onto Moullie Point Promenade. From there everyone cycle’s at their own pace, relatively slow and chilled, up Three Anchor Bay Road onto the Fan Mile cycle lane. Everyone regroups at the bottom of long street on the fan mile, everyone then takes Long Street together in a mass cycle J down Loop Street and right into Longmarket Street and into Green Market Square! (Check it)

#Safetyfirst
