The day has arrived, the 1st of November and more importantly the first day of Movember. The time when you have cleanly shaved your upper lip, to be as smooth as your mother’s porcelain china. It is the calm before the storm….the hairy storm, when men everywhere will be growing or at least trying to grow the perfect Tom Selleck.
Movember and Sons are the men (and woman) behind the Moustache Movement that has got everyone growing. But what we need to remember is that Movember is so much more than growing a sexy mo, that all the ladies will love and make men respect your manliness. Yes there is a deeper meaning.
The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. You can check it out here at the Movember and Sons and get involved, invite your friends and document the journey of your Mo. All the proceeds go to a great cause. Don’t feel bad if you can’t grow one, either because you are like me and have patches or if your other half will banish you to the couch (you wimp of a man), you can always just make a donation.
