Red Bull, the pioneers of cool "sporting events" such as theRed Bull Air Race World Championship, street style football, Red Bull luge and so many more, are the kings of marketing when it comes to associating extreme with a brand. They also know how to make events hell of a entertaining. Red Bull Flugtag, is probably one of the most classic of all. You know, the one where people build flying "machines" and attempt to fly off a pier of some sort...well now they are coming to South Africa.
On the 9th of December 2012 at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, Red Bull Flugtag challenges teams of everyday people to build homemade, human powered flying machines and pilot them off a 6 meter high ramp in the hopes of achieving flight!
